The SEED Barn is a place to learn about our relationships with seeds! It houses a seed library which focuses on wildland restoration and heirloom preservation. A regionally specific SEED Sensorium is being developed there - immersive educational activities around seeds - as well as a gallery of art inspired by seeds. Demonstration gardens in a spectacular waterfront location guide visitors in learning about how to handle invasive plants & why it is important to grow native species.

What a spectacular location....simply viewing the property itself is well worth a visit! The 1835 historic seed barn has been totally renovated and has sweeping views of Conary Cove in the front and Mill Pond in the back. The master gardener is around most of the time to answer all your questions about "hugel culture" and "permaculture".....both being practiced here.
